Important parent information
The Government has published information for parents and carers this morning. This includes a list of critical key workers, the link is attached here for you to read and act on if necessary.
If parents think they fall within the critical categories listed they should confirm with their employer that, based on their business continuity arrangements, their specific role is necessary for the continuation of this essential public service.
We now have a limited number of staff, therefore school is to remain open only for those children who absolutely need to attend. School needs to ensure the health and safeguarding of everyone - staff and children. Many parents working in these critical sectors may be able to ensure their child is kept at home and so we ask parents for every child who can be safely cared for at home that they keep them there. The fewer children making the journey to school, and the fewer children in educational settings, the lower the risk that the virus can spread and infect vulnerable individuals in wider society.
We do need to know numbers of children attending for ratio purposes, please confirm your position as soon as possible with the school office. Going forward please be aware if we cannot safely care for a child of a critical keyworker we may have to limit our support.
