Dear parent/carer of children running in tomorrow's cross-country race,

To confirm the LSSA XC fixture on Saturday 18th January 2025 at Middleton Park will go ahead.

Parking will be at John Charles Centre, Middleton Grove LS11 5DJ. If you approach from Middleton Grove we recommend that you turn right at the mini-roundabout into the large car park as this has no time restrictions. If you approach from Old Run Road it’s straight across at the final mini-roundabout.

From here walk, turn right out of the car park, continue uphill up Middleton Grove, through a pair of iron gates, a little bit further then take one of the many paths through the trees on the right to reach the course near the start. It’s about a 5 minute walk. For those unsure of their footing through the trees, continue to the brow of the hill and there is a clear path to the course on your right – you will be half way between the start and finish (2 minutes extra).

Toilets are available at John Charles Stadium main building (not the aquatics centre). Do not wear muddy shoes inside the building.
