Following the government's most recent announcement of a full school opening we are currently waiting publication of the details of what September will look like and the expectations the DfE have.

Last night I attended a meeting with the local authority to discuss September. Headteachers had many, many questions for leaders and we are working very hard to ensure, whatever the decisions, the health and safety of the children is paramount.

Although the Government have not provided a definite date for plans, DfE officials have confirmed that that these will be published by the end of the week. Of course, we are eager to see this guidance so that we can plan with increased certainty. 

I share your frustration at the lack of detail and look forward to inviting all the children back however, it is difficult to give further details at this moment. As has been the case previously during this pandemic, our plans may be forced to change as we have to respond to the ever changing guidelines.

As soon as we have confirmation of our position we will be contacting families.
