The government now believes it may be in a position to implement a phased re-opening of schools from 1 June, starting with pupils in Reception, Year one and Year six.  This is part of their conditional plan which it says will remain under regular review. 

We all want the children back into school as soon as it is safe to do so. However, as you will appreciate, the first priority has to be the safety of everyone in the school community. 

We saw the announcement at the same time as the rest of the nation and last night we started to receive more information from the DfE. Today we will begin to consider what this means for our school and we will provide further information in the coming days and weeks once we are able to do so.
